True Blue, True Blue behaviour, helping the community

Junior Content Marketer, Shana Miller, shares her True Blue behaviour…

Inspired by the recycling culture I experienced while living in the UK, I try to recycle as much as I can. It’s very often nature that suffers at the hands of humanity so I feel it’s important for us to play our part in helping to protect the environment. I am also passionate about helping others, especially those less fortunate than myself, and I strongly believe that “a little goes a long way”. It’s the small acts of kindness for those around you that really can put a smile on your face, and theirs. My true blue behaviour is to make an effort to give back in some way, to do small things as often as possible for others. Plato once said: “Always be kind, for everyone is fighting a hard battle” and for me, these are words to live by.

My True Blue:

I make sure to buy the latest issue of The Big Issue magazine each time a new one comes out. I try to buy from different vendors in different areas.

If ever I’m after a book, particularly a classic, I always make a point of supporting the second-hand book stores that are found dotted around our beautiful city.
