What projects have you worked on at Saatchi & Saatchi?

I’ve been lucky to work in both account planning and now social. Brands that have kept me most on my toes have been: Pillsbury, Old El Paso, Lenovo and Trident (A.K.A Stimorol).

If you weren’t Head of Social, what else would you be?

Wanting to be the head of social.

In your previous life, you were a_____

I can’t remember – I mostly concentrate on getting into heaven.

What was your first job ever?

Handing out pamphlets at traffic lights whilst in 1st year varsity. It was all in the pursuit of saving up for a front loader CD player for my car.

If you won the lotto, what would you do?

I would print the money into R10 notes and jump around with it on my bed. Like bank robbers do in the movies.

What inspires you?

People who are crazy, passionate and talented. The ones that fight for what they believe is right for a client vs. those just go home at 5pm. I guess that’s why I work at an agency.

What are your Lovemarks?

Moleskine, Nikon and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Your kryptonite includes?

I find it is usually the 4th Tequila.

What’s your favourite go-to place in Cape Town?

It’s people that keep my attention, rarely places. Wherever my friends are.

Why do you believe that nothing is impossible?

I always aim to do my very best. I expect the same of others. When we say ‘nothing is impossible’ to each other, it just makes it exciting from the very beginning, not just at the finish line.

What does your lunchbox meal consist of?

A banana and a long walk to Woolworths.

What’s the motto you live by?

Everyday I’m hustlin’.

What song makes your hips sway?

Anything R&B will get me dancing.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

If I told you, I’d have nothing to impress my boss with tomorrow.

Name your other creative pursuits.

Trying to make Q&A’s about myself interesting. Like this.

Your “best work day ever” includes________

Good coffee, a client noticing you’ve gone the extra mile and stopping to notice that you’re lucky to work in a beautiful office filled with crazy people.

What’s your #truebluebehavior?

I try to make someone’s day, everyday. They could be colleagues who are on a rough deadline, a teller at Checkers who is eyeing the chocolate I buy or someone who wants to learn how to use a computer.
