World Down Syndrome Day 21st March

Tomorrow is a celebration of the beautiful, incredible individuals who are born with Down Syndrome, a chromosomal disorder which is caused by a cell division error resulting in an additional 21st chromosome. This video is a message of hope for future moms expecting a child with Down Syndrome. It’s a message of love and encouragement, put together by CoorDown in conjunction with Saatchi & Saatchi Italy.

When CoorDown received an email from a pregnant mom expecting a child with Down Syndrome, they felt compelled to reply. The mom was asking what kind of life her child would have and CoorDown elicited the help of Saatchi Italy to put together a heartwarming clip allowing fifteen happy and healthy children to answer her. Their message is sweet and simple, ‘Dear future moms, everything will be alright.’ With one in every thousand children born with the condition, spreading awareness is of paramount importance. Moms don’t need to be scared; yes, there will be tough times, but aren’t there always?
