Christmas at Saatchi 18 Feb 2014
For Christmas, 2013, we decided that going to the beach was too easy… so we brought the beach to us instead. Literally. We ordered truckloads of sand, paddle pools, deck chairs and cocktails and turned our parking lot into a beach. The result was nothing short of perfection, earning us some very envious and questioning looks from passersby.
We spent the entire day reclining on deckchairs working on our tans and shooting each other with water-guns, in between being served all manner of tasty morsels on silver platters, drinking delectable cocktails and engaging in progressively wittier banter as the drinks flowed.
This was the perfect opportunity for AtPlay and Synergize to spend some memorable bonding moments together and right from the outset it was evident that we were going to be a good fit. We listened to some inspirational speeches from our thought leaders and then proceeded to marvel at CEO Shaune Jordaan’s rendition of Great Balls of Fire, followed by the crooning of Executive Creative Director, Gavin Whitfield.
Shaune then proceeded to don a giant hotdog costume, Tim got inappropriate with the tomato sauce and many an interesting dance move was ‘busted’ on the makeshift dance floor. ‘Twas a day to remember.
